Thurston spent his early professional years constructing sets and scenic elements for Chicago’s commercial film industry, where precise detail and effective communication are vital.  He brings those same skills to the job of home inspection.

A home is a large system built of many smaller components.  “What will it feel like to live here?”  That’s the question Thurston will help you gain the answer to.  While evaluating the many bits and pieces of the structure he’ll also make sure you come to a good understanding of how they fit together.

In the years prior to inspecting homes, Thurston launched and operated a successful business, Espresso Repair Experts, with technicians servicing espresso equipment for clients in Seattle and nationwide.  He’s found that many of the traits inherited from running that business serve him well in home inspection: reliability, instruction, clear communication, and kindness.

Thurston began inspecting homes under the mentorship of home inspector Raj Hayden.
